Do you enjoy working on impactful software used daily by tens of thousands of people to order their food? Do you want to help build innovative hospitality solutions such as Order Buddy, Delivery Buddy and Kiosk? Then this is your chance to play a key role as a Senior Frontend Developer at Foodticket.
Who are we?
Foodticket is a growing scale up and the largest online platform in the Netherlands that supports restaurants and other food businesses in managing their orders and pickup services. We help entrepreneurs process orders more smoothly, increase revenue and serve their customers better.
Our software offers a wide range of solutions such as online ordering and payment systems, website and menu development, marketing tools and reporting features. We already do this for more than 3,500 restaurants, with tens of thousands of consumers using the platform every day.
With Foodticket, restaurants can create their own personalized online ordering website where customers can browse dishes, place orders and pay. The system can be integrated into existing restaurant websites and offers smart tools for order management, inventory management and customer loyalty.
Our focus is on continuously improving and expanding our platform so hospitality entrepreneurs can work more efficiently and offer a better customer experience. That is where you come in.
What are you going to do?
As a Senior Frontend Developer at Foodticket, you will have the opportunity to build and improve complex, scalable applications. You will work with a driven team and have a high level of autonomy when it comes to technical decisions.
Your projects:
Order Buddy
A native Windows and Android app that allows hospitality businesses to manage all their orders. You will help add new features and improve performance.
Webshop
We make it easier for restaurants to set up their own ordering website. You will work on AI driven product recommendations, funnel optimizations and delivery tracking.
Kiosk and Delivery Buddy
You will help develop a new native app for our ordering kiosks and continue building our delivery app.
Tech stack and challenges:
Vue.js and React Native for frontend development
GraphQL for efficient data fetching
Electron and React Native for cross platform apps
Who are we looking for?
A developer who is not afraid to speak up. You enjoy technical discussions and want to contribute to building the best platform in the Netherlands.
- At least five years of experience in frontend development, preferably with Vue.js
- Experience with GraphQL and REST APIs
- Knowledge of TypeScript, Nuxt.js or Next.js is a plus
- Senior level to discuss technical choices and architecture
- A solution oriented and proactive mindset
