Our partner is an international company with approximately 225 employees spread across 9 locations, ranging from Canada to right here in Alkmaar! In Alkmaar you'll find the front-end team, consisting of 9 talented front-end developers and their team leader.

Now, here's an opportunity for you! Our partner is looking for a Developer to strengthen their team.
What are you going to do?
The organization at our client revolves around building and refining various software projects that are crucial to their business operations. These projects encompass the development and maintenance of internal systems such as a marketing platform, project management system, and a customer portal. The primary objective of these projects is to establish a solid foundation enabling them to generate high-quality leads across diverse channels, including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, display, paid search, and organic channels.
One of the key challenges the team faces is continuously enhancing the existing systems and creating new features that enhance the efficiency of lead generation. This requires not only technical expertise in various programming languages and technologies like PHP, Laravel, Vue, Symfony, TypeScript, and Docker but also the ability to work within a Scrum Team. Daily stand-ups, bi-weekly scrum sessions, and regular meetings with Product Owners and Scrum Masters are essential for fostering innovation and delivering the best possible products.
Another challenge lies in mentoring junior developers to improve their skills and inspire them to contribute to the team's success. Cultivating an environment based on collaboration, transparency, and continuous improvement is crucial to achieving the desired outcomes.

Proficiency in relevant technologies: Proficiency in TypeScript and Docker is a requirement, along with skills in PHP, Laravel/symfony, Vue, which are highly valued. Additional knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is considered a plus.

Experience and Skills: We are looking for candidates with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience. The ability to work independently is crucial. Additionally, ambition to grow within the role, potentially evolving into a tech lead or advancing to the next career step, is a plus.

Technical Leadership Abilities: The ability to excel not only individually but also to lead and inspire others is highly appreciated. You can grow into this part and you don't have to be at this level yet.
