Our client is a European SaaS scale-up in education. They’re merging multiple e-learning platforms into one international product. The platform is already live, used by thousands, but still under heavy development.
The team: ~11 developers, 4 product owners, 1 designer, and currently 1 manual QA. They now need a Senior QA Engineer to bring automation and a quality-first mindset into the heart of the product. Hybrid setup: 2 office days (Utrecht, Mon & Wed), rest remote.
Job description
As Senior QA Engineer, you will:

Own end-to-end test automation with Playwright (Typescript/Javascript).

Design test strategies and build CI/CD pipelines in GitHub Actions.

Support the shift-left movement: quality baked in from the start.

Work closely with devs and product to clarify acceptance criteria.

Coach the team in best practices, exploratory and release testing.
Requirements

5–7 years in QA/Test Automation.

Hands-on with Playwright (or Cypress/Selenium + Typescript).

CI/CD integration experience (ideally GitHub Actions).

Strong communicator, able to advise both devs & PO’s.

EU-based, fluent in English, 2 days per week in Utrecht.
