Experienced Frontend Developer - For Leading NFT Game - US Based
Are you US based and does working on a NBA game and brand on the blockchain using Ape NFTs sound good? Our client is looking for an experienced Frontend developer to help them turn their long term vision into a reality.
The Company
NFTs have seen a huge rise in popularity the past year. Not only as Jpegs. but real utility is being added to the NFTs. One of the most promising use cases for NFTs are gaming, but our client takes it one step further.
With the booming NFT market, one of the leads of The Sandbox (the second biggest metaverse in the space) had a preminition. How about using collectible Ape NFTs to create the most engaging Basketball NFT game to date? Combining the collectibilty of NFTs, gamification and branding possibilities, the team behind this project has set out with one goal in mind;
"Create a game with a online presence that will combine sports, lifestyle, gaming, NFT's and the Metaverse into one."
In their first investment round they received 4.5 million from investors. With big names such as Stephe Curry and Paul George backing the project and collabs with brands like Under Armor, this start up is well under way to be a staple in the NFT world.
Even through the bear market the floor price of their Apes stays close to the 1 eth mark. With a mint price of 0.08 eth in October, to say they aren't doing bad is an understatement.
They have a long term vision to create, not only a game and collectibles, but also, a lasting brand for the next ten years and beyond. They need you to realise this goal!
The Job
So what will you be doing?
Everything that has to do with frontend. Not only are you helping create the game. The club store, market place, partnerships platsforms and staking pages need building too, just to name a few examples.
The team is around 30 people strong right now. Currently there's a team of people who have experience at AAA titles like The Sandbox (they still have close ties to The Sandbox) but also Sony and Disney. These veterans in the industry are looking for an able colleague but are also willing to teach you all they know about coding but also about web3!
Trust is an important part of the company as a part of the teams you will be ''building and envisioning together''.
While they are willing to teach you, you are expected to work on your own and fix the frontend problems they have on your own.
You will be mainly working with React and TailwindCSS.
The Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in frontend software engineering
- You are interesting in Web3, Metaverse and Blockchain!
- React

- Typescript
- TailwindCSS
- Web3 experience is a bonus but not required
